| | | | 2010 Maximum Weekly Benefits for UI, TDI, WC | | | | | | | 1/8/2010 | | | | Unemployment Insurance (UI) The maximum weekly Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefit amount for the year 2010 is $559 for new claims filed after January 1, 2010. This represents 75 percent of the state’s average weekly wages ($745.20) reported by employers contributing to the Unemployment Trust Fund.
Because the tax base is $38,800, contributions will be payable on wages up to that amount per employee during the year.
